Dual-controlThe MMS Driving School fleet
Our Cars
The MMS Driving School fleet is the set of dual-control cars we teach in across Coventry. It is four modern, well-maintained vehicles: two automatics and two manuals. You learn in whichever transmission matches the licence you want.
Our automatic cars
Our automatic cars suit learners who want to drive without a clutch or manual gear changes. Both are dual-control, so the instructor has a second brake if a situation needs it.
Dual-control
Dual-controlIf an automatic is right for you, our automatic driving lessons cover everything from your first lesson to test day. If you would rather learn gears and clutch control, our manual cars are below.
Our manual cars
Our manual cars give you full control of the clutch and gears, which is what you need for a full manual licence. Both are dual-control for the same safety reason as the automatics.

What dual-control means
Dual-control means the car has a second brake and clutch fitted on the instructor's side. This lets your instructor slow or stop the car when needed. Every car in our fleet is dual-control, which is why beginners can start safely from their first lesson.
What cars does MMS Driving School use?
MMS Driving School uses four dual-control cars. The automatics are an Audi A3 (2023) and a Toyota Yaris (2019). The manuals are a Toyota Yaris (2020) and a Toyota Aygo (2022). All four serve learners taking driving lessons in Coventry.
